Abstract The rapid growth of Internet of Things (IoT) technology has led to its widespread adoption in smart cities, enabling efficient resource management, enhanced security, and better decision-making. Ensuring the monitoring and management of such networks requires robust mathematical and computational approaches. Determining the domination parameters in these networks provides the minimum number of nodes required to monitor and secure all the nodes in the system. There has not been much research on parameters elaborated with corona graph products on networks. In this paper, domination parameters in arbitrary super subdivisions of corona graphs are calculated and it is shown that the findings are beneficial to model and monitor IoT networks in a smart city traffic management scenario. © 2025 IEEE.
