Abstract Environmental pollution and climate deterioration caused by large-scale use of chemical energy are becoming more and more serious. The development of new technologies and new ideas such as energy Internet will change the physical architecture and information interaction mode of the power system, bringing new challenges to the operation of the power system. Driven by Internet technology, the energy Internet has become an inevitable trend of the development of traditional energy systems. In this paper, a set of multi-energy flow regulation and operation optimization model for the energy Internet is established. Combined with practical cases, the proposed model is dynamically simulated, and the multi-energy complementary strategies for the power side and the user side are discussed respectively. The study finds that, with the acceleration of industrialization, the rapid expansion of power grid scale, the increasing number of new lines, reconstruction and expansion, in order to ensure the security and reliability of power supply, the energy Internet multi-function complementary integration optimization is the inevitable choice for power grid system to improve efficiency and security. © 2020 IEEE.
