Abstract Many technologies available for water distributing system. A smart city should have facilities to meet the end user with comfort. In the existing system, there is no technical know-how to assess the usage of water to each and every house of the city. In this proposed system, the corporation has installed the know-how, viz. IoT devises, sensor devices, and Arduino for water distribution on area-wise use, and water taxes can be collected based on usage. This will ease the wastage of water based on survey. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.
