Abstract In this article, a new way to power streetlights and waste bins without using regular electricity is presented. This system uses a special material called piezoelectric that can turn the mechanical energy from people walking or cars driving by into electricity. This electricity charges a battery, which then powers the lights and sensors. These sensors help in the management of the lights and the waste bins in a more effective and practical way. It is clear that technology works towards achieving a more stable economy, and the same goes for this solution as it lowers the dependence on fossil fuels and pushes toward greener solutions. In simple terms, using the energy from people's movements to power important parts of city infrastructure, like streetlights and waste bins. This system shows that advances in technology can really make a positive difference for the future. © 2025 IEEE.
