Abstract	As part of the ENaQ project, a digital platform is being developed and tested with use cases. This digital platform consists of three layers: Citizen's access to the (a) community portal. The community portal uses the services that run in the (b) service platform. The data, especially from the field level, is processed and stored in the (c) Smart City Data and interoperability platform. This chapter sheds light on the Smart City data and Interoperability platform. It will reveal how the platform was conceived and developed, and why standards are important for the development of platforms and services and which ones have been used.
