Abstract The design of the proposed DSCoT outlines a novel approach to the secure management of assets in Cyber Physical System of smart cities through smart contracts. Since admin, users, and IoT devices within their CPS subunits do not have non-fungibility, DSCoT takes refuge in extended NFTs through the ERC721 asset identification and authentication standard. Smart contracts form authentication access codes that securely permit access to assets. The protocol is validated on public and private blockchain implementations, with up to 99.87 % improvement in execution cost, efficiency, and time complexity over the current NFT-based methods. The system incorporates machine learning models, including GoogLeNet and AlexNet, coded in Python, for improved asset identification and management. DSCoT is an integrated, efficient, and resilient solution for the integration of secure CPS in smart cities. © 2025 IEEE.
