Abstract In today’s world of communication, there are not only mobile users approaching the network but also many smart city applications, IoT Devices, Automatic car, etc., should also be taken care. Toward this aim 5G with slicing technology is the best way to deal with heterogeneous requirements. Resources are the main factor in 5G as the number of resources at the RAN level is limited. As these applications have different key parameter requirement with limited resources. In this paper, we have designed slices for the eMBB and uRLLC devices. We have considered different number of applications to verify the resources allocated to the upcoming service. In this, we were successfully able to achieve two different slices and we verified the model with variations in application as 10, 15, and 20. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.
