Abstract The Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) is part of the Internet of Things (IoT), which makes human life more intelligent. Achieving different objectives in the IoT and increasing data security demands for smart hospitals and cyborg robots to protect patients' personal information are becoming extremely significant. The general structure of IoMT contains vital components, such as data collection, servers, and communication gateways. Once the cyborg robot receives the data, it will be sent through an unsafe channel where it must be verified before diagnosis. Automatic and precise classification of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is very significant in the extent of the biomedical and medical imaging field. This article proposes a novel efficient lossless-based, secure communication for an IoMT smart healthcare robotics network. Moreover, before diagnosis, a wavelet transform is used to achieve the inversion and find the best wavelet coefficients for reversible watermarks to validate the patient's related health information in IoMT networks. The performance outcomes of this study show that efficient, secure communication can secure medical robotics data in terms of data transmission with accuracy, security, and privacy in an intelligent healthcare system. © This is an Open Access article distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial License (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/3.0/) which permits unrestricted non-commercial use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.
