Abstract 5G and Internet of Things (IoT) networks fabricate accessible telecommunication transportation by civilizing the bandwidth, capacity, and consistency of wireless broadband services. When 5G uses large quantities of connected devices with IoT, it leaves many devices in danger. Hence, it needs risk management. Here, security becomes a significant concern. Moreover, the IoT devices built out of advance do not have safety measures. Many devices in this network do not yet have the means for encryption and updates. So, risk management is essential for sensitive broadcasting information, financial data, and government data. Therefore, the usual risk management on authentication, confidentiality, and encryption should now happen at a much more regulated rate. The risks associated with 5G and IoT can affect the advantages they provide if they are not looked into properly. Hence, this chapter presents risk management for 5G and IoT Risk Administration, Healthcare Environment, and cyber risk, Smart Home Applications and Savvy Cities, and provides methods on how to cope with them. © 2022, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.
