Abstract Nowadays, smart healthcare system is very much essential for human life as it is more simplified and trustworthy in comparison to the traditional healthcare system. Drone technology gives a boost to smart health as various cutting-edge technologies are used such as infrared kinds come with technologies, including infrared cameras, GPS, and lasers (consumer, commercial and military UAVs). Remote ground control systems operate these (GSC). It functions in conjunction with the vehicle's sensors and a GPRS (GPS). Out of the many Benefits of Drones, telemedicine is a major aspect through which it can easily save lives. With the help of IoT analytics, the objective can be achieved suitably. In this chapter, a three-layered architecture is proposed in which the first layer consists of the wearable device which is responsible for the acquisition of body parameters. The sensor nodes are in charge of tracking bodily functions like temperature, heart rate, blood pressure, etc., and sending this information, together with the patients' geolocations, to the cloud via a sink node. The sink node's built-in Wi-Fi module connects it to the cloud. In the second layer, the acquired body parameters will be stored in cloud storage and analyzed via various supervised and unsupervised learning techniques. A Cloud database is mainly responsible for storage, analysis, and decision-making in real-time. Further in the third and final layer, the IoT cloud will be coordinating with the drone and the medical store which is nearest to the patient and deliver the medicines at the desired location. There is a subscription-based model where the patient can log in to the UI system. After logging in he/she can able to view his/her body parameters, can make payment, and get the medicine remotely. The IoT along with the help of drone technology facilitates the integration of heterogeneous sensing components which are capable of providing real-time analyzed data through the internet anytime anywhere. Based on these data a patient can get assisted in a better and more feasible way in case of any urgency without bothering about time, speed, cost, and the rigidity to traverse physical barriers which make drones handy to adopt. © 2023 Scrivener Publishing LLC.
