Abstract Smart Mobility is one of the main directions of Smart City's transport system development. At the same time, along with the management intellectualization, the issue of the transition to cleaner, safer and more sustainable transport modes, such as a bicycle, is being resolved. Democracity and accessibility, cheapness and environmental friendliness, promoting a healthy lifestyle are the reasons for the growth of this transport type popularity throughout the world. The paper proposes one of the possible ways of developing bicycle transport in smart city, which allows to expand the its users number by reducing the requirements for the person physical fitness level. The proposed development represents the Smart Bike concept, which with the help of sensors monitors the condition of the environment and cyclist health, analyses indicators and, in critical situations, turns on the electric motor. This allows you to reduce the load on the cyclist, as well as battery consumption, which has a positive effect on the Smart City's ecology condition. © 2020 IEEE.
