Abstract In the context of smart city construction, urban management has put forward higher requirements for the refinement and intelligence of public spaces such as community parks. This paper designs and implements a dynamic supervision and performance evaluation system for community parks. The system adopts the Internet of Things, edge computing, cloud platform, data statistical analysis and other technical means to build an intelligent system from data collection, transmission, processing to result display. With the help of sensors deployed in the park, the system collects relevant data such as passenger flow and environmental indicators in real time, and uses edge computing nodes to pre-process and respond to the data in real time; then uploads the data to the cloud platform for centralized storage and statistical analysis, and finally dynamically presents the operation status and performance indicators of the park with a visual interface. The actual application results show that the system has promoted the improvement of community park management efficiency, enhanced data processing capabilities, promoted the further optimization of resource allocation, significantly improved the intelligent level of urban public space management, and played an effective supporting role in community park management under the background of smart cities. © COPYRIGHT SPIE.
