| Abstract | In this paper, we present a cache placement scheme to deal with bandwidth constraint of backhaul links in 5G Small Cell wireless network. We formulated the cache placement problem as graph matching problem and presented an optimal file-helper matching algorithm based on Gale-Shapley optimal matching criterion. We define stability criterion for the matching and found our matching solution stable in the sense that every helper finds at least one file to cache given no file exceed minimum cache size. We derived file-helper based on our framework that employs users' connectivity and their social interaction pattern. Our approach is to perform unique placement of a file within a cluster of helpers to increase the number of files cached within a cluster. We showed through simulation that our algorithm increases the number of file requests served by either a local helper or a helper within the cluster that significantly reduces bottleneck backhaul traffic. © 2018 IEEE. |
