| Abstract | High-definition(HD)dynamic maps are the com⁃ mon basic technology and important infrastructure of intelli⁃ gent networked vehicles. At present,due to high-cost profes⁃ sional data collection methods and scattered data sources,it cannot meet the requirements for rapid update of HD dynamic maps for smart vehicles. Therefore,we propose a crowd⁃ sourcing update technology route for HD dynamic maps. Based on this route,we build an HD dynamic map basic plat⁃ form,which supports the supervision by competent authori⁃ ties. The crowdsourcing update of HD dynamic maps can be realized by the aggregation of vehicles,roads,clouds and other crowdsourcing data under the premise of fully guaranteeing the security of national geographic information data. The tech⁃ nology route covers crowdsourcing data aggregation and pre⁃ processing,data processing,result data storage,map data product release and map data update application. In the urban road scenarios,the verification of the HD dynamic basic plat⁃ form crowdsourcing update technology route has been carried out. The results show that this route can meet the need for rapid update of HD dynamic maps for L3/L4 autonomous ve⁃ hicles. In the future,the HD dynamic map basic platform will continue to provide HD dynamic map data support for the safe operation of intelligent networked vehicles,intelligent traffic management,and smart city application services. © 2023 Wuhan University.
